Musician Treatment Foundation is a nonprofit that helps eligible professional musicians with free upper limb orthopedic care through our unique, nationwide Physicians for Musicians network. A musician can experience an injury without warning whether from the repetitive intensity of playing an instrument, an accident, or an underlying condition. A single injury can end a musician's career, and that is why MTF is dedicated to helping injured musicians when they cannot afford the essential care they need to keep the music playing for us all. Since its inception in late 2017, MTF has assisted in providing free surgical and non-surgical care for professional musicians valued at nearly $3 million.
Music Health Alliance's mission is to Heal the Music by providing advocacy and access to healthcare and mental health resources that Protect, Direct, and Connect music professionals with medical and financial solutions. Thanks to the direct efforts of MHA, over 32,000 members of the music community across the country have gained access to lifesaving transplants, medicine, health insurance, mental health resources, emergent dental care and end of life care, saving over $145 million in healthcare costs. MHA's services are available at no cost to those who have made a living in the music industry for three or more years. Spouses, partners, and children of qualifying individuals may also receive access to the non-profit's services from birth to end of life. For more information please click the button below..
